Designworldnews is an independent international publication covering developments in architecture and design. We examine architectural projects, interiors, products, materials and production processes.

Alongside established design practices, we also feature work by independent studios, emerging designers and manufacturers.
The decisions behind projects, the materials used and new approaches are central to our editorial evaluation.

Architects, designers and manufacturers can send us their new projects, collections and images directly.

If your project has a distinctive story involving sustainability, circularity or material innovation, be sure to highlight it in your submission.

WHAT INFORMATION ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We welcome submissions regarding completed projects, new collections, product launches, material developments, research, exhibitions, and industry news.

Please provide as much of the following information as possible. Existing press releases and complete press kits are welcome; there is no need to prepare a separate document if your materials already contain the relevant details.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Please include a description that covers the background, purpose, and key design decisions behind the project.

We are particularly interested in:
- The original brief and the needs the project addresses.
- The design process and the decisions that shaped the final outcome.
- Materials, construction methods, and production techniques.
- Technical challenges and how the design team addressed them.
- Environmental considerations, resource efficiency, material innovation, and circular practices, where applicable.

If your project involves a production process, an experimental material, or a significant environmental strategy, please explain how it works and provide supporting information if available.

ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR PROJECTS

For architectural and interior projects, please include:
- Building type, function, and location.
- Year of completion and total floor area.
- Client and core design team.
- Structural and construction systems.
- Key materials and finishes. - Details regarding adaptive reuse, restoration, or preservation, where applicable.
- Information on environmental performance, if available.

Floor plans, sections, elevations, construction drawings, and relevant technical details are welcome.

PRODUCTS, COLLECTIONS, AND MATERIALS

For furniture, lighting, textiles, surfaces, architectural products, and material innovations, please include the following:

- Name of the product or collection, and the designer.
- Manufacturer and country of production.
- Materials, surface finishes, and available variations.
- Dimensions and relevant technical specifications.
- Production processes and techniques.
- Development history, prototypes, or testing information.
- Launch date and commercial availability, if applicable.

For material innovations and products with environmental claims, please provide available information regarding raw materials, sourcing, recycled content, durability, repairability, or production methods.

HOW TO SUBMIT

PRESS MATERIALS AND FILE SHARING

You can submit existing press releases, project presentations and complete press kits.

Please share large collections of images and documents via Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer, rather than attaching them directly to an email.

Ensure that download links are accessible without additional permission requests and remain active throughout our editorial review process.

PREVIOUS PUBLICATIONS AND EDITORIAL REVIEW

Please let us know whether the project or product has previously appeared in another publication. Include relevant links and indicate whether any images or information are subject to an embargo.

We particularly welcome previously unpublished projects and original production documentation.
