Mercury Rooftop Bar at Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach has been redesigned for luxury hospitality design. The project, undertaken by S+S Design Studio (Sundukovy Sisters), earned industry acclaim by being a finalist in the 2025 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards at the prestigious AHEAD Awards. At the heart of the Mercury Rooftop Bar concept is the sculptural bar, realized with a dynamic Liquid Silver Design. This piece was crafted using advanced casting techniques to shape its flawless curves and was inspired by the luminosity of the element mercury.

The design is inspired by the planet Mercury, exploring themes of speed, reflection, and kinetic energy. The spatial arrangement strategically combines two bar areas: the main sculptural bar and the secondary, golden champagne bar, to foster a free-flowing social atmosphere.

The flooring is Arabescato Orobico Grigio marble. The tabletops are Supreme Blue quartzite, dark Copacabana granite, and polished BACCARAT milk onyx. The seating is custom-designed with prints.

Kinetic art installations, particularly delicate hanging paper pieces, were used. The renovation also featured a technological focal point: a large-scale 3D projection mapping system embedded in one of the tower’s walls and ceiling. This system simulates the movement of mercury, creating a temporary digital overlay that elevates the bar’s cosmological concept and experience.

Founded by Ira and Olya Sundukovy, Sundukovy Sisters Design Studio (S+S Studio) specializes in lifestyle and luxury interior design for restaurants and hotels. They have completed 150 projects in Europe, the Middle East, the Middle East, and Asia.

They have won a total of 16 Hospitality Awards.
