Salone Contract OMA Masterplan

Salone del Mobile is starting the Salone Contract design masterplan. OMA Masterplan , led by Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten, is preparing the project.

Salone Contract by OMA will connect supply and demand directly. It aims to bring architects, developers, and brands into a clearer working system.

Salone is building a digital matchmaking platform with ITA – Italian Trade Agency. Design Masterplan program will bring together 250 selected international participants.

The project will be introduced in different regions starting from September 2026. The goal is to build an international network before the first fair in 2027.

Salone Contract is not just a fair. It works as a system for exhibitors, visitors, and architecture studios.

It will connect different geographies and systems. It also aims to support large-scale projects through a shared structure.

The process will be tested until 2027. The system will be shaped based on these results.
