Beosound Premiere Spatial Audio Limited Edition

Bang & Olufsen has launched the Beosound Premiere Spatial Audio, which goes beyond the traditional soundbar category. The product is the result of close collaboration between the B&O Design team and the experts at Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, reflecting the quality of craft in Denmark. Designed with a sculptural design philosophy, the Beosound Premiere is manufactured from pure aluminum, and unlike conventional soundbars, its drivers are made visible, reflecting B&O’s design philosophy of inside, outside, and throughout. A limited edition soundbar, the Haute Edition, was also introduced to celebrate the launch.

The flawless aluminum chassis was processed using the bead blasting method to achieve a matte satin finish. Housing ten powerful drivers on a thin profile while maintaining the compact form required precise engineering work. This engineering effort by the B&O Design team emphasizes the quality of pure aluminum.

One of the most striking features of the design is the upward-firing tweeter, positioned right in the center of the soundbar. A hidden detail in this driver, designed from turned aluminum, is the presence of 1,925 precisely machined holes to honor B&O’s founding year reinforcing the sculptural design philosophy.

Bang & Olufsen

The Beosound Premiere Spatial Audio offers Bang & Olufsen’s patent-pending New Wide Stage Technology™. This technology, along with ten specially designed drivers and a central upward-firing driver, creates a spacious sound experience that radiates sound around the listener from every angle, making the sound field wider and longer than it is.

The limited edition soundbar Beosound Premiere is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze; this means it can be updated and repaired over time, which demonstrates the commitment of craft in Denmark quality to longevity.

To celebrate the launch, a special Haute Edition, limited to only 25 units worldwide, was produced by the B&O Atelier team. In this edition, flowing grooves that reflect how sound propagates in waves were machined onto the aluminum body using a precise milling process.

Each Haute Edition was completed with 17 hours of complex milling and entirely by hand.
