Nurai Island Gold Winner project
Nurai Island Gold Winner project, by Yoodezeen Architects, has been recognized at the Global Future Design Awards and Architecture MasterPrize. This hospitality project showcases the firm’s signature work. YODEZEEN is building a vast resort on Nurai Island. This property, covering 42 hectares, offers 53 private villas with direct sea access and private beaches. A 4- to 6-story apartment block offers views of the Abu Dhabi SPA Complex area. Guests arrive at the resort via a magnificent jetty and an entrance area. The studio has won over 60 international awards, including recognition from the APR Awards.

The event hall is a striking feature, blending commercial architecture with the island’s natural surroundings. This structure captures the desert essence, using rounded lines reminiscent of tent settlements. The building’s unique shape draws inspiration from the region’s natural dunes.

The design emphasizes movement and energy. The event hall, using a circular motif, symbolizes perpetual motion and the desert’s dynamic spirit. The interior features natural materials such as sandstone and decorative plaster, integrating with the surrounding landscape.

Yoodezeen Architects was founded in 2010 by two Ukrainians, Artur Sharf and Artem Zverev. The firm has expanded internationally, opening offices in Miami, Los Angeles, and other cities. The team has grown to over 160 members, ensuring rapid completion of projects and reflecting the company’s unique aesthetic. The studio has won over 60 international awards for its commercial and residential projects, including recognition from the APR Awards for this exemplary hospitality project.
